RLP Update All Districts (cohort 1) – July 2016

Highlights
Analysis shows that pig rearing and fattening to be the most successful of the three main enterprises with current assets and sales increasing by over 200% in Soukhouma and 300% in LaoNgam. Poultry appears to be the least well performing enterprise and has been subject to high death rates. In LaoNgam, current stocks and sales amount to less that the original number of assets transferred.  Goat births continue to be high and deaths remain low. The rain season appears to have had a serious affected on poultry with high death rates in the last three months prompting an intervention response by CARE and World Education (WE).
