RLP – Family Story Extracts (All Districts: Cohort 1 – May 2016)

Resilient Livelihoods for the Poor (RLP) is a pilot program that provides poor households in Southern Laos with productive assets, cash transfers and technical support to enable them to escape from inter-generational poverty and establish more resilient livelihoods.

We are following the personal stories of 21 of the participants so that we can track their progress and
ensure that the program is fulfilling its promise.

Participants chart their progress, starting from stage 1 , where they are in extreme poverty, through to stage 5, where they have been able to establish sustainable livelihoods.
