RLP – Family Story Extracts (All Districts: Cohort 1 and 2– July, 2016)

Resilient Livelihoods for the Poor (RLP) is a pilot program that provides poor households in Southern
Laos including: Laongam District, Salavan Province; Soukhouma District, Champasak Province and
Xepon District, Savanakhet Province with productive assets, cash transfers and technical
support to enable them to escape from intergenerational poverty and establish more resilient
livelihoods.
In the project pilot, we are following the personal stories of 21 of the participants or seven
households per district so that we can track their progress and summarize that progress into the RLP
Family Story. (Five households were in the Cohort 1 Quarter 1 had been already tracked for 4 times and
the other two are in the Cohort 2 Quarter 2 had been already tracked twice).
