Over the last three months I have grown my own cassava on my relatives land and we harvested about 7-8 Tons. We do not have the machine to slice it so we can dry it and sell it for more money, so we had to sell it fresh and get about 300,000-400,000 Kip (up to 49.34 USD) per ton. So far we have earned over a million Kip but I had to use some on my sickness. I have had severe stomach pains so we went to the Lao Ngam hospital and used our money from selling cassava to pay for the bill. We plan to grow more cassava again as it is a good source of income.
