I grew up in this area and married my husband 19 years ago, he moved from his village. My mother lends us the land. I have 2 daughters they are in school and supported by an education project with free schooling, uniform and equipment for the next two years. After this I will pay for them to go school as they need to get a good education. My husband is a laborer and currently he is helping to build a school where he will get 40,000 kip (4.93USD) per day. He has worked 20 days so far, and will carry on until the school is completed. He also gets irregular work clearing rice-fields for 30,000 kip (3.7 USD) per day. Sometimes I work in the rice-fields too, but this is also irregular.
