RLP – Family Stories: Oun (Cohort 1 – Part 3)

We are all well at the moment. I feel like I have made a lot of progress since I first started but I still face many challenges in my daily life. I have five children – our nine year old daughter is the only one to go to school and she is in grade three. The school provides her with uniform and stationary. Our eldest son stays at home with me and helps me with household work and selling things.
I earn money by growing cabbage and selling it at the market, making between 0-20,000 Kip (2.46 USD) a day, but I have nothing else to sell at the moment so it is not enough. In the bamboo season, I will collect bamboo and sell this at the market. I look forward to when my baby goats will grow bigger so I can sell a few.
