RLP – Family Stories: Davon (LaoNgam: Cohort 1 – Part 4)

Recently I have not been feeling well; my legs and body ache. I took some medicine to help me walk better which seemed to help. My youngest daughter (16 years old) has returned home from Thailand as the Thai authorities did not allow her to work there. After returning home, she started working alongside my aunt at the grocery shop in Pakse market. I sometimes ask her for support when I don’t have enough money. She has sent me money occasionally (around 500,000-600,000 Kip a time). I have no land for planting rice as my ex-husband sold all the rice fields after we separated.
