“Since the last time you visited, I have secured a job working as a labourer at a mining company. I earn about 40,000-50,000 kip (5-6 USD)per day, but the work is not always regular. Last month I worked for the full month, but I will stop working this month for harvesting season, particularly as my wife can’t help me with the harvest due to her disability. Hopefully after the harvest the mining company still accepts me to come back to work again.
